Our List of Do’s & Don’ts

Don’t

Inquire, or schedule a wedding consultation and ghost. We take a lot of time to schedule around others and provide people with tons of information. It’s the polite thing to let your vendors know what you’ve decided to do. I promise we aren’t upset if you’ve chosen to go in a different direction, we want you to be happy with your decision even if it’s not us. Never leave your friends hanging.

Do

secure your date

We would LOVE to be a part of your special day. So it’s important to secure your wedding venue and wedding date before reaching out to your other vendors (planners, photographers, videographers, caterers etc.) We can’t book you till we know when and where you are getting married! So pick that date and contact us today!

Don’t

Inquire through Instagram & Facebook. Go through their website/contact page! Most businesses have a scheduling system they’d like clients to go through. Trust us, it makes it easier for all parties. We have so many forms of social media nowadays that it makes it hard to see where your message thread lives. It can be complicated to not only respond to you but also follow up with you. We don’t want you to get lost in the shuffle, so inquire through those contact pages!

Do

Look through vendor’s websites. We’re proud of our websites and we work hard to maintain them. So get a feel for pricing. Most vendors have their starting price listed on their website so you know instantly if they are within your budget or not.

Don’t

Fully judge a photographer by their galleries.

They say don’t judge a book by its cover, and it’s true. Galleries may be different, and that’s not BAD! We’re not a wash, rinse, and repeat company. The reason we schedule a consultation is to create your vision. You may not enjoy seeing a ton of color in someone else’s wedding, But that couple loves saturated photos and it was created for them. You may not like how they walked down the aisle, or the type of clothing they wore, but that could be everything they ever wanted.
